Wild West Virginia Weather
The weather in WV the last 7 days has been rather crazy. Snow, then rain, then rain back to snow, lots more snow…then lots of sun! Today, the snow has almost melted away, but the last 5 days has made for some of the winter’s best walkabouts and skiing adventures …around town and in the local hills. Here’s a quick recap of last Thursday’s wild West Virginia weather!
The start of a great snow day, working from home with Anna and Tara…
After spending the morning working remotely, I decided to spend my lunch enjoying the intense snow that shut down Morgantown. In order to get around Morgantown in the winter, one must have a decent 4×4…my choice vehicle is a 95 Toyota FJ-80.
I found my friend Zach skiing on the streets through town, and after a few quick jaunts down a couple hills and streets, we jumped in my FJ and and met up with some other friends (Jamie and Jeff), who where cross country skiing at Dorseys Knob.
It was prettier out than I could have imagined. We did a quick loop around one of the trails before I had to get back to the grind.
More short stories and photos to come in the next few days.. Cheers!
Nice, Gabe!
Thanks Kevin 🙂
