Bendra Wedding
I’ve known Ben and Kendra for a quite a while, not as long as many but long enough …So, after 10+ years of friendship, I was very much honored when they asked me to capture the long awaited Bendra Wedding.
Everything was oriented around their friends and community. The pre-party was held at the Lebanese Bistro in Morgantown’s Warf District.
Kendra and her bride’s maids had the hair done at Tonique Trilogy, and then had lunch at my favorite place to eat in Morgantown, Black Bear.
Bendra Wedding
This event was spectacular by nature, held on Kendra’s family’s farm in a scenic valley in Preston County, WV.
The experience was by far one of the nicest weddings I have ever attended, and I think many of the guests would agree…
…unless they didn’t don’t like live blue grass during the ceremony and reception…
…fireworks…
…local craft beer…
…or Russ’ Ribs.
A Perfect Rainy Day
The weather threatened rain all day, and the ceremony was outside (so was the reception, but it was under cover).
Well, rain it did, and everyone endured through the continuous sprinkling as the ceremony took place. The droplets of rain added to the richness of the natural flow and atmosphere of their wedding (and subsequent photos).
I’ve put together a small collection of my favorites, and at the end I’ve added a link to the rest of the wedding Photos.

My girlfriend Tara helped me shoot the wedding, and some of these captured moments are thanks to her artist’s eye! I hope you enjoy this memorabilia, and remissness of what great fun and excitement this wedding created for years to come! Thank you again, Ben and Kendra! You’re adventures together have just begun, and I’m so glad to have been a part of a very large step on your unified trail!
This is long overdue. Thank-you Gabe and Tara for catching what was among the best days of my life! The shots are simply incredible and I don’t know how you managed to move between being fun and invisible so effortlessly! I really enjoyed all the many little interactions we had and certainly hope there are more, and more indepth interactions in our futures! Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!
